Samuel Creppy
In a broader stroke, Samuel Creppy is a Communication Specialist with over a decade of experience in Digital Communication, Publishing, Communication for Development, and Public Relations. He is currently the Communication Assistant at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Regional Office for Africa.
His work spans from managing the social media handle of FAO Africa, and the regional office’s website within the Organization’s global structure and corporate policy. With his vast experience in publishing, Samuel is also the Regional Publishing Unit Coordinator, UPC with the supervisory role of ensuring editorial and corporate identity guidance and logo policy. In the spirit of team building, he works under the supervision of senior colleagues in training and assisting most FAO country offices communication officers in the area of Digital Communication, publishing monitoring and evaluating communications targets and effectiveness.
Prior to joining FAO, he worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Ghana Institute Journalism, (GIJ) and as a Public Relations Consult with InFocus PR.
Starting his career in Public Relations and Advertising, Samuel has worked on various projects including building brand identities and producing communication strategies and materials for emerging firms.
Samuel holds a BA (Graphic Design) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST. BA (Communications Studies/Public Relations) from the Ghana Institute of Journalism, GIJ. MA (Development Communications) from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
