Georgina Asare Fiagbenu
Georgina Asare Fiagbenu is the Senior Manager for Ghana’s Corporate Communications for MTN Ghana. She oversees the execution and implementation of strategies to promote and maintain a positive reputation for MTN Ghana, Mobile Money Ltd, and MTN Ghana Foundation. She leads the development and execution of strategies to improve Internal and External Communications, Media Relations, Community Relations, Stakeholder management Leadership Communications etc.
She started off her career in consulting practice at Strategic Communications now Stratcomm Africa and managed key accounts such as British Airways and the Board of Airlines of Ghana. She later joined SOS Ghana as Head of Communications/Fundraising, setting up the PR and Fundraising department.
She has a degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana, a Post graduate diploma from the School of Communications Studies, and a Master’s in Leadership and Governance from the University of Ghana Business School. She holds certification in Consulting Practice and Consulting Applications from the Ghana Institute of Consulting.
She describes herself as a Communications for Development advocate and recently started the Timekeeping Dialogue Series, an initiative about the importance of Timekeeping and its contribution to national and personal development.
Gina is an Accredited Public Relations practitioner and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana.
Gina is a blogger and a Writer. Her first book “The Wish List” is a collection of her articles.
